The New Michael Jordan? Maybe

Ever since Michael Jordan retired from the NBA, everyone in the basketball world has been searching for the next Air apparent.

Kobe Bryant clearly has demonstrated that he's undoubtedly one of the most prolific players in the NBA, but he's not done enough to make us forget the images of Michael Jordan flying through the air from the free throw line to dunk the basketball. Man, I still get goose bumps when I think about it!

And, here comes...Lebron James!

It turns out that Lebron James was GREAT even while he was in high school and, as a matter of fact, he was later dubbed, "The Chosen One." How is that possible?

Well, have you seen the Lebron James movie documentary "More Than a Game" that shows how he dominated every opponent during his high school basketball days? If not, you're not a "true fan" of Lebron until you check out the movie, More Than a Game.

And, in case you "live under a rock", and you haven't seen how Lebron James has also dominated in the NBA, check out some Lebron James highlight videos below...They're guaranteed to blow your socks off!!!

Lebron James has definitely taken the NBA by storm. He's shown some remarkable array of basketball skills for a player his size--stands tall at 6'8" and weighs 250 lbs of chiseled muscle--that the so-called basketball gurus proclaim that they've never seen before. Like Michael Jordan before him, every kid now dreams of playing like Lebron.

But, Lebron would probably be the first to tell you that he didn't become one of the best players in the NBA by accident--he worked hard! If you would like to some day be considered one of the best basketball players in the world, check out these basketball drills.

So far, for the most part, Lebron James has lived up to the hype that surrounded him when he was first drafted into the NBA right out of high school.

It's safe to say that Lebron James is the "complete package." He can shoot both the mid-range and outside shots relatively well...

He's definitely considered a team player and a "double threat", because he's never shy about "sharing" the ball with his teammates...

He can drive hard to the basketball for a seemingly easy dunk or layup because of his amazing strength...

One-on-one, Lebron James is almost an unstoppable "force of nature" because he's very hard to defend due to his lightening speed; and, he can handle the ball quite well.

But, it doesn't stop there...

To make matters worse for his opponents, Lebron James is equally as versatile and fierce on defense, and he is capable of dominating the backboard with his rebounding ability.

You can see why Lebron James is dubbed the nickname, "King James." The following video gives some insight into the skills of Lebron James.
