A Scuba Diver Should Have Proper Dive Gear

Human mind is curious about everything that exists in the world. Man's curiosity about the kingdom under the sea has always been there ever since his existence. Human body is not made as to survive underwater. However man has developed ways through which he can go underwater and explore the world under there. Scuba diving is one such activity that allows you to dive deep into the blue and explore whatever you want. Scuba diving is not only done for scientific and research purposes but also for the sake of recreation. There are certain rules and guidelines which a scuba diver must follow before diving deep into the depths of the seas and oceans.

First of all, it is extremely important for a scuba diver to attend the scuba diving program that is conducted for the divers before they take a dive deep into the sea. After this, each diver should have proper scuba diving equipment. Having proper diving equipment safety of the diver. It also makes it certain that the diving experience would be a memorable one and would be remembered for a long period of time. Among the various things, a scuba mask is the first and foremost. It covers the eyes, nose and mouth of the diver and prevents the water from entering into these parts. It should be noted that air is supplied to the diver through these masks with the help of pipes that are connected to the scuba tanks. These tanks are carried by the divers on their backs and they show the reading indicating the volume of air consumed and the volume remaining. A regulator controls the flow and pressure of air that is supplied to the diver.

Then there is the diving suit which covers the body of the diver and acts as an insulator. It prevents the water from coming into direct contact with the water. Fins also form a part of the scuba diving gear but their use is limited to a depth beyond 30 feet. A buoyancy compensator looks like a vest and it allows the diver to swim back to the surface without facing any problem.Now there are also diving watches which are used by the divers to check the time and temperature under the surface of water. These watches function like normal watches with the added advantage of functioning under water as well. Having an underwater camera is very advantageous as it allows you to treasure all the underwater sights and memories. These cameras function underwater and help in taking pictures of sights that you see underwater taking care of the light conditions. Having proper gear assures that you would have a fantastic diving experience and you will remember it for years to come.
