coach pitch hitting

Question
I am coaching 6-7 year old coach pitch and am looking for drills to teach them to hit.  Most played T-bll last year, but lack the skills.  Any other drills for teaching these kids the fundamentals would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time and help.

Answer
Hi Mike,

Here is a website that may interest you:

http://www.qcbaseball.com/drills/baseball_drills1.aspx

this site is an excellent reference and has lots and lots of drills for all ages.

I still think wiffle balls are the best but some coaches argue that a real ball is better.  If you can hit a wiffle ball (1/3 the size of a real ball) you can hit anything.

Best of luck,
