Too many foul ball (Under the ball)

Question
My kid is 8 years old and he has a good stand on home plate and his swing is very good (that is what everyone is saying) but his problem is that he is hitting too many foul balls. His foul ball are line drives behind the catcher. It is not that he is swinging too late or too early. What can i do to fix this problem? he hit at least 2 or 3 foul balls everytime he is in home plate.
Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Abel
Thanks for the question.

Sounds like he is right on the pitch, just slightly off. Sometimes this happens because the pitcher's ball is moving. However, since this frequently happens, it seems like he needs to adjust his swing slightly. Try having him hit the middle of the ball, just enough to have him raise his bat slightly.

Don't make this too much of a big deal. He will work his way out over time.

If you like, feel free to send me a video of his swing.

Hope this helps.
