Baseball Little League Rule: Runner Advancement After Out

R on first, long fly ball to outfield, runner takes off at hit of ball, and is between second and third when ball is caught in outfield. Ball is then thrown out of play towards first in attempt to get runner tagging up. Ball is out of play, runner gets two bases from last touched base at time of throw? Runner then tags up at first, would he get home or just third? He had touched second at time of throw. thanks

Wow that is a tricky situation. The runner would get third because even though he had passed second, he was never entitled to second. First base would be considered his last base touched because he would have to return to it in order to get the two base award.
