I am a 2-handed bowler

Hi there, I am a 2-handed bowler and I'm 14 years old. When I throw my DV8 Diva, I stand all the way to the left of the lane cause I am a right handed. Even though I throw the Diva all the way across the lane, sometimes it would over hook and hit on the other side of the head pin, what would you reccommend for me to do? My Diva is 14 pounds but its a little light for me, would you want me to adjust my feet, get a heavier ball, or get a new ball that would have less of a hook rate? Thanks, Josh

Success in bowling involves matching your rev rate and ball speed. It sounds like your two handed style has you hooking your DV8 Diva too much (or maybe your drift a bunch to the right??). Without knowing more about how you bowl, it's nearly impossible to give you solid advice. Can you send a video?

Modern lane conditions aren't very difficult. I'm wondering if the lanes you bowl on,  are just more lightly oiled? Your speed is causing the ball to hook to much or too early?  You get the ball right to quickly? There are several possibilities of what could be causing you problems.

How long have you bowled? How long two handed? What do you average? What are your goals for bowling? How many games do you bowl a week? Let me know more info and I can have a better chance to offer some suggestions. Thanks for the questions.
