Improve Bowling Pin Action: Ball Selection & Techniques

my wife throws a straight ball, but does not get alot of pin action. is there a certain type of ball that might give her more pin action instead of the pins laughing at her ball? she throws about a 12lb ball.

Urethane works better than plastic. Reactive resin urethane works a little better than urethane, BUT can be tough to control if you don't have much ball speed.

A good fit, maximum ball speed (for women, seniors and kids) and maybe a few bowling lessons will help maximize your wife's enjoyment of the sport.
