Question
My daughter just graduated high school and is headed to college. She has bowled youth for 5 years ,but  wants to bowl on my adult league this summer.will this hurt her elgibility to bowl in college

Answer
Hello Randy, thanks for your question about your daughter bowling in an adult league. As with all leagues they have local rules. As with public and private bowling school districts they also have their own established rules. The key here is you have to be concretely sure you are dealing with the school your daughter will be attending.
The safest bet if she wants to do this is to contact USBC and get the Parental Consent Form directly from them. No other form will do. It's not a form your league can just draft up or create locally. The link to the rule is:

Here is another link: It has a phone number at the bottom you can call if you have more questions.

My interpretation is that she can bowl as long as this form is filled out and submitted prior to participation is any event or league as long as she is not receiving cash prizes.

P.S. It's my pleasure to help, however I generally just work on the training of people to bowl better part of bowling. :-) - Coach
