FULLBACK

Sorry this will be kinda long.
So im goin to be a fredhman next year. Im 6' 185 right now probably 6'2 by next year. I was a lineman this year and i didnt allow one sack, so my blocking is very good. I can run pretty fast 13.9 100 m and i can truck and stiff arm as well as catch. I have no knowledge of what a fullback has to have in oreder to be top notch comin out of high school in order to go to college. My running back is 6'3 180 and he can turck and stiff arm and run fast like me so i feel we would become an extremely

Our qb runs as well and is as big as us (we will probably institute the option in this case). So what should i do to prepare for a gun/option style offense as a fullback? What stands out to scouts about fullbacks? Lastly should i get up to 215 or so (weight)?

Dear Andrew,
Do not gain any more weight it will only make you slower. You might want to do some running and weight-lifting (Muscle weight is okay).

揚LAY FOOTBALL THE NFL WAY?by Tom Bass, is a well written book that covers all the techniques needed to play any position on a football team. You might want to give it a try.
