Becoming a Football Player: Skills, Size, and Hard Work

i am in 8th grade. i was a DT in middle school but i want to be a FB in HS for the JV football team. Would i be able to be a FB? i am 5 foot 6. i will be working out ALOT this summer! Would i be a good FB?

Hello,

 Being good at anything requires a lot of hard work. It is not about size or speed. Although, those things do help, nothing can replace working hard at all aspects of being a good athlete.

 learning everything about your responsibilities and being able to complete them, is what could separate you from the others at the fullback position.

 I was undersized, and didn't have that true speed like others. But, I worked hard everyday, I listened to the coaches even when they were not talking to me, or talking about my position. I still listened. My theory has always been that if I know what everybody else is "supposed" to do, then that will make my job that much easier.
