Defensive Line Training for High School Players: A Comprehensive Guide

Hello, well I'm about 5'6 and I am 207 pounds. I have about seven months to train.
I am 14 years old & I am a freshman right now also. My bench max is 165 and I'm not sure of my squat.  I really want to start on J.V. Next year
and I also want some PT on varsity. I also want to learn a liitle technique
I would greatly appreciate it if you helped me

p.s. I play nosetackle & defensive tackle.

Hello,

  Well, first you must know that a defensive lineman must have a low sense-of-gravity. You must be able to fire out without lifting up. Learn how to engage with a lineman and get rid of him quickly. Good explosion from the lower body. Squats, broad jumps and bear crawls will help with that explosion.

  Never let a lineman get in your chest or in the center of your body, because if he does it is to easy for him to block you.
