Conditioning and Getting ready

Question
I want to know what conditioning should I go through and what should I do if I want to play as a FB, I am a DT /DE I weight 240 and I am 5'9 and my 40 last year was a 5.5 but I think I have gotten faster.

I'm in weight lifting now and trying to lose weight but what should I do to make myself standout as the best choice and how should I get conditioned and in shape for it.

Answer
Hello Dominique,

You have to get that 40 time down. Your average fullback probably runs a 4.6 or 4.7 in the 40. Find a hill and run sprints up that hill. Purchase a sprint parachute and run wind sprints. The ground ladder is a good drill to build quickness and good footwork.
