Position Help

Question
Hi, I was wondering if you can help me on picking a position to try out for as a freshman. Some of my friends say i should play quarterback, I'm accurate inside of thirty yards but I'm not so accurate outside of thirty. I have good hands so i think i could play wide out but him not really that fast. Id also like to play outside linebacker. I am really good at reading offense but i am not that fast. I'm in 8th grade 5'8 115 pounds.
Thanks

Answer
well mike, it sounds like you'd be a better quaterback then anything else. outside linebacker would require a bigger, heavier person then your self, but if you wanted to play wide out, you could always get your speed up( running stairs, sprints, suicides, footwork drills) and play there if thats what you really want to do. but I would reccomend going quaterback based on your throwing ability alone. practice throwing farther then 30 yards and im sure you'll eventually get used to it.
