do you think i can play safety?

I wanted to know if I should try safety. I played Dline three years: first year freshmen team, then jv, and varsity. This past year on varsity, I relized I am way too small to play defensive end to contribute to the team. I am 5 10, 172 lbs. I run a 4.82 40 and I can improve it easily. I have pretty decent hands. Just want to know what you think.

You have good size and height and you know the defensive side of the ball.  I say give it a try, just work on your speed, quickness and pass reading.  Also you are not too small for DE.  If you are quick, smart and have good fundamentals, you are a good size and likely will get a little bigger with maturity and weights.
