Question
QUESTION: This is my last year in football and i want to be the best i can be. I have about four months until my season starts. My question is i want to get bigger(gain weight) so i can turn it into muscle but i also want my speed and my condition to be at its best. Being a fullback/linebacker i need my speed and also my power which is my body. Do you have anyway to help me get bigger muscle wise and get conditioned,
Appreciate all your help

ANSWER: First , I suggest talking to your coach and get specific workouts through him.  There are many ways to get stronger and quicker.  Continue to workout with the team.  After talking with your coach, if you need specific workouts, feel free to visit my website coachfromthestands.com or email me anytime at [email protected]  Coach B.

QUESTION: thanks or the advice but i want to surprise my coach and work off in the off season before preseason to show him i really care and I've take the time out to i really want a starting spot so do you have any drill or advice for a fullback/linebacker thats just trying to get better

Answer
Do you guys have an offseason workout program for the team?  Any workout you do will make you stronger and quicker.  You can always do extra jump rope or plyometric drills to get quicker.  When you do this, stay on the balls of your feet.  You can set up cones, or anything like them and work on cuts and quickness, again staying on the balls of your feet.  You can always work on your fullback and linebacker stance to perfection as well.  If you need help with this please let me know.  Coach B.
