High School Quarterbacking

Question
Hey Brian,

I am sophomore quarterback and I am playing with a school that runs the spread offense alot!It is off-season right now, the coaches already told me i will be playing QB next season. What are some things i should work on to get ready for Quarterback and the that spread offense? I have a good arm, solid speed, okay ball handling and I am only 5'8..I was thinking maybe i should jog hills and alot of jump roping..I really wanted to work on my accuracy too?

Answer
You will enjoy that offense.  Besides your basic workouts you do with your team, if you throw everyday your accuracy will improve.  Want to be really good in the spread?  Watch film every possible chance you can with your offensive coaches.  That will get you ready.

Good luck, keep me posted.  '
