Semi Pro Tryouts

Question
Hello , I have semi pro try outs in 45 days , I've been training for about 2 months already but have serious questions if anyone can help me. I am going for WR but I am only 5'7 130 lbs. I'm not to worried about that just my ability to take  a hit. I'd like to know 1. What are some good drills I can do on my own for this posistion 2. Tips to run the 40 yrd dash faster. 3 , tips to bulk up in 45 days? And finally I recently quit ciggerettes but obvs not soon enough so how can I increase endurance other than jogging? Thanks for all your help and time.

Answer
45 days is realistically not enough time to make all the positive transitions you wish......

#1 Congrats on quitting smoking...Takes 12 months to clean & detox your system.

#2 Any good form of cardio.  I also hate running, but do a lot of jumping rope, stairs, endurance exercises, high intensity workouts......

My personal recommendation is P90X, but it's a very detailed 90 day program.....Check out www.P90X.com.  You may have seen an infomercial on TV...A great program.  You did not say how old you are, just wondering if this is a "later" in life decision or just something to do above college or intramural....

If this has helped please leave me a positive rating, if not please contact me back for further info.  Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
