Maximize Your Potential: Strength Training for Young Defensive Linemen

My question is I am 16 and I am a junior. I am 5'5" and I play defensive tackle and nose guard how can I get best prepared for next season to make sure I am the best I can be.

Find a good strength coach in your area.  Check w/ local colleges & set an appt. w/ their coach.  I have never seen any coach not give a few minutes of their time to assist others.  If not then look for a professional trainer...They can assist you in your nutrition, specific exercises for your sport & help you write & FOLLOW a particular program.

Your main challenge, though, is setting your realistic goals & making a firm commitment.  If not committed, then nothing will work.  A great program to try is P90X....Go to www.P90X.com...You may also have seen their infomercial on TV.....Many college & pro teams have used & followed their program....You will love it.
