Football D-Line Workout: Essential Exercises for Beginners

Dear Coach,
    I am entering my freshman football this year, I am hoping i can play D-line. What areas of my should i focus on working out and how? thanks


Answer
    There are 4 basic lifts that should be the core of any football players work out.  1st the squat, is a lower back and leg work out.  Second the bench press, is key for upper body strength.  3rd the leg press,  This give you the explosivness need to fire off the line quickly.  Last but not least work on your dead lift.  This is a core stength work out that stengthens the whole body.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!
