Football Fullback Training for Beginners: A 1-Month Plan
Question
I'm 14 an trying to get in shape for football season in a month. I am 5'11 172 pounds. I've never played fullback but I played lineman for five years. Do you have any advice for me?
Answer
Patrick make sure that you are in great shape before the season gets here. I would suggest running at least 1 mile everyday until the season starts. Also I would be sure to stretch daily, and do plenty of push ups and sit ups. Be sure to hustle and work hard so that you impress the coaches. Last but not least a good fullback is a great blocker. You must be able to destroy linebackers and open the hole for the running back. Focus on hitting linebackers extremely hard. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!
