Offensive Linemans Workout???


Question
I am a first year Offensive Lineman 5 foot 8 in. 175 Lbs, trying out for my high
school's freshman football team and i was wondering what would be some good
strength training exercises to strengthen my full body, specifically legs and
hands.

Answer
    Keith the areas of your body that you want strengthen are your legs, and chest.  You should be doing squats, and lots of bench press for the chest.  Push ups and leg press are two other good exercises for lineman.  Jumping rope is also a must for quick feet.  Punching a punching bag is great for quick hands as well.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!!
