well i havent had the best high school fotball career n this is my senior year and i play free safety for my high school and im about 5'9 168 n the only problem coaches have told me is my hips arent that good enough as the others so should i stick to saftey my last year or switch postions because im fast and can catch pretty good but i need some help training to become better with my feet and hips with exercises so if u have ne help plz tell me

    Devonte, I would suggest staying at your current position.  You have experience at that position and understand your responsibilities.  What your coach is referring to is that your hips are slow when opening them to the QB, to help the corner over the top on vertical routes.  There really isn't that much you can do to improve your hip speed, besides basic foot work drills.  You need to become better at anticipating where the QB is going with the football.  This will help you get to the receiver quicker.  Read the qb's eyes and body language.  Do a better job of scouting your opponent.  Pick up on there tendencies, like what # does the opposing qb like to throw to the most.  This will give you the anticipation you are lacking.  BEST of LUCK COACH NOEL!
