Preparing for Division III Football: Advice for Walk-On Players

Im 19 about 5'8" 150 pounds and will be attempting to walk on to a division 3 football program this upcoming season. i didnt play in high school for personal reasons but was very good in the youth league. do u have any advice on how to prepare for the season?

Justin, just make sure that you are in tip top shape before the season ever starts. Start running and streching daily. Also start lifting weights at least 3 to 4 times a week. Get your body in top shape so that you can do your best, to impress the coaches. GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!! PS I would try to add at least 10 pounds, start over eating especially proteins, before and after weight lifting.
