could i play?

Question
I'm 19 I've been out of high school for one year and have spent the majority of it running and lifting. Its been a dream of mine to play at the college level. The main hang up is my size. I'm 5'7 and weigh 155  i run a consistent 4-7 40 time but, I'm looking to play a receiver position. I bench 180 and squat 300. I have played free safety from 7th grade through 12th and  was always my main position but, i always played both ways and  usually was an x receiver. I have good hands and feel that it would be a better opportunity to make a D2 team as some sort of slot receiver. I wondered if you thought i could possibly play for a smaller D2 team and if so what do i need to work on to make myself more appealing for a coach to pick me up?

Answer
Dear Robert,
The only way you are going to know if you can play college football is by going to college and trying out for the team. The college coach will tell you what he wants you to work on. And how you can improve. Please let me know if there is any thing else I can do to help.
