Answer
Dear Mark Reckert,
So you want to get ready for football season? And you want to know the best workout for football? There are ways to get ready for football season and have some fun too. The two best ways to get into football shape are by playing Basketball and handball.

When you play basketball you do a lot of running back and forth on the basketball court. This helps get you into shape. You also have to play a lot of defense and offense on a basketball team. The foot movement used to play defense and offense on a basketball team are the same foot work that a football player would use during a game.

When you play handball you do a lot of running back and forth and side to side. These are the same movements used by a the defense on the football field.

If you play these two games during the summer and (stay out of the sun) drink lots of water, get lots of rest, do not over do it, get your sleep, you will be ready for the season. You will be in football shape and your foot work will look great.
I hope this helps, if not please let me know.
Your friend, Coach Louis
