open tryouts

Question
Hi Martial

I read a question that you answered for a fellow named Michael and I feel the same as he does.  Although I never did play higher than Jr C due to injuries and health.(Separated shoulder, broken collarbone)  That was back when i was 14.  I am 26 now and I feel that there is this void that needs to be filled in my life and I need to play competitive hockey and give my all out best to make it.  I read in your answer to Michael that the ECHL, IHL, have open tryouts later in the year.  I have tried contacting those leagues for the dates but have had no response.  I was wondering if you would know when and where they were, and what league you would recommend I tryout for?

I Live outside of a small town in Southern Ontario and would need to be close by here if i wasn't paid enough to cover my bills.  If i was paid enough i would play anywhere in the world as long as I was playing the game I love.

Marc

Answer
Hi Marc...

The best way would be to try to make some direct contacts with some agent types and or scouts...  here is a link to a camp that may help:

GOOD LUCK!
