Where do I go?

Question
Hi, I'm planning on returning to the pitch after a 4 year hiatus. Problem is, I was 13 last time I played, now i'm 18 and going off to uni (in England btw). I used to be a lock, but didn't particularly enjoy being in the middle of the scrum, and so I gave up (nor did I try particularly hard when i was playing). I'm 6'3" and just over 13 stone, but don't have that much upper body strength (did a lot of running/cricket instead of rugby).

So I'm gonna start playing again - my question is where? I did a couple of games in the back row when i used to play and enjoyed that, but I'm also quite fast and can punt a long way, so fancy a go as a Shane Horgan-esque winger. I have no real experience as a back though. What do you recommend?

Answer
With out really knowing your rugby history I would say go for number 8 or flanker. # 8 needs a kicking game as well while flankers not so much. So I feel if you have a kick on you and no back line experience then go for # 8.

Hit the gym with a trainer and get strong, it can be done, eat well, sleep well and work out hard. 4-6 weeks of consistent gym work makes a huge difference.
