Bulk up?

2016/7/16 9:55:22

Question
Hi, I'm Bryan, I'm 140 Lbs. and am 5"10.5.  My current (and most likely position) is Wing.  My question is this:  do I need to be bulking up in order to be better at resisting tackles, or stay slim and use my speed to just not get tackled?
If I do need to bulk, what way would you recommend? I already work out my shoulders, arms, and legs for 30 minutes every morning.
Any help would be appreciated, thankyou.

Answer
Sounds like you are doing the right things. If you are a pure speed wing then make sure your speed is not compromised by added bulk. Although if you add pure muscle and work on your power and explosive running you can bulk up and keep speed.

I do not give fitness routines as per my bio. I always suggest working with a professional and qualified trainer or join a local athletics club with a sprint program. Try using Google to search as well, for example:
