position change after weight loss.

Question
Hey,
So I played rugby in highschool. I was overweight and got put at the prop position and loved it(I always love the physical game). I was 5'10" 260. I haven't played in about 4 years and am now getting back into it at 24. I have however lost alot of weight. I am now 5'11 and 195. Being familiar with the forward style but not big enough to be a prop anymore I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what position to play? I was thinking flanker, but dont have the speed for it, I'm definitly quicker than I am fast. I LOVE to hit(wether its putting someone down or going through them) and am pretty good kicking with both legs.(left leg is a bit weaker) I get great height with ether leg but not the best distance. I would appreciate any ideas you have thx in advance.

Answer
Hi Jared,

You might consider hooker it is like a flanker and you would be a good size for it. Flanker works too speed is not essential if you are running good lines and are fit. It is a hard call without seeing you play in person but give hooker a look.
