coed slow picth

Question
I know the pitch should be min of 6ft and max of 12 ft. but what is the behind the plate ruling of a strike? I have been told it doesn't matter and I have been told it is a foot behind the plate.

What is the rule for pinch runners in coed?

Answer
Hi todd,

regulation ASA is 6-10' and no it not where where the pitch lands.  A strike is that space over any part of hp when the batter assumes a natural batting stance adjacent to hp between the batter's back shoulder and front knee.  The sz doesn't change if you move up or back in the box.

In strict ASA play you can legally sub in a player to run but there are no crs or "pinch" runners.

Of course local leagues can do whatever they want.
