Intentional delay of a game

Question
I would like to know what the rule is on an intentional game delay by the other team?(mens asa) Example, If the opposing team takes their time fielding, and when its their turn to bat.

Answer
Hi Jim,

there is a rule.....Section 4. FORFEITED GAMES.
A forfeited game shall be declared by the umpire in favor of the team not at fault.....

E. If a team employs tactics noticeably designed to delay or to hasten the game.

HOWEVER this is an absolute last ditch (nuclear option) decision by the umpire and one I have never seen.

A good umpire is going to move the teams along with the natural pace of the game, we have other rules and attitudes to use.
