foul/fair balls

Question
If a player is in fair territory and touches a ball inches in foul territory, is it a fair or foul ball, if it goes foul after he touches it.

Answer
It does not matter where the players feet are when the ball is touched.  If the ball is on or over foul territory when it is first touched, it is a foul ball.  If the ball is first touched while it is on or over fair territory, fair ball.

Nothing that happens after the first touch changes anything.
