Mark, wouldn't/couldn't this also be unreported substitue. Like previous question I asked you about? I assume when Brandon wrote that pitcher was not on roster, that he meant not in lineup? IF not on roster then it would be inelligable player...therfore a forfeit? If not in lineup then just US, and since "we" do not know who they went in for, there would be no batting out of order? Same situation I had? Now just reenter correct (since we don't know who they went in for) any person so to speak. The lineup would stay the same as whatever names were down in batting order? THanks

nice to speak w/ you again.

I'm not sure what he meant by roster so at the end I gave him the IP procedure.

W/out really seeing the situation in person it's hard to know exactly what happened, certainly could have been an US or they might have meant to play w/ a EP and didn't put in on the line up card.  The question was a little difficult to dissect.

Brandon's specific point was he wanted an out for every BOO in the game.  If it was BOO it's their responsibility to catch it as the PU told them.  The PU also gave them an out and I don't know on who or why. Since most of the game I believe was over I don't think they were keeping a book so it's hard to say what exactly happened because I'm not sure Brandon knows exactly.

Anyway regardless of what happened I wanted to explain they were not getting numerous outs and until they catch it, after a pitch all play is legal.
