I am a umpire for Co Ed sofbal, I was umpring a game where a team had 6 men and 5 women the question is they can bat more men than women just can't have more men than women in the field

Hi Matt,

if you are playing by ASA rules and not a local rule the answer is no.  In coed you can bat either 10,5-5 or 12,6-6 but not 11.

The only way 11 would bat is if you started w/12 and 1 got hurt but you would take an out in the batting spot of the 1 who left the game.
