Remembering Larry: A Tribute to a Fastpitch Community Member
Question
May Larry RIP .. thanks for all the memories and the love of the game of fastpitch
Answer
I assume this is true because it has been posted for almost 2 weeks.
Umpires in particular are family but we do adopt coaches and players who earn our respect with sportsmanship, knowledge, excellence and love of the game.
Larry and I have both been on this forum for at least 4 years. I regularly used his knowledge and experience. In his writings to me and his answers to others I could see his love of the game.
I never met him but this umpire mourns his passing. I'm sure many other umpires who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him saluted him and said we will miss you on the field, our friend.
