parent interference may cause our coach to back off

Hey Tom, I just asked you a question about 20 minutes ago, but here is another one.  What do coaches think of parent interference?  One girl on my team is having her mom call out coach to complain about the assistant being mean.  The only reason the assistant is "mean" is because the girl doesn't listen to her and i a know-it-all.  The assistant is actually a great coach and I am worried that she will "back off" from being a good coach if someone complains about her.  Also another girls mom is calling because she wants her daughter to be the libero, will her mom calling ruin my chance at being libero, or will the coaches pick based on the better player? One thing to consider is these coaches are inexperienced.

Good morning #2!

This is a very good question.......for adults.  :(   This is not something you need to worry about, b/c it's not something you can do anything about.   There are some matters that the adults must handle.  

But you asked, "What do coaches think about it?"  They GET ANGRY with it!! They HATE it.  It pushed good people away from being coaches.  But, parents will do it b/c (a) they think they can influence the coach to play their daughter and (b) they're just meddlers and they can't control themselves.  

Well, maybe you can do one thing:  You can tell your coaches about once a month how much you're enjoying being on the team, and how much you're learning.  That always make coaches feel good, and it may help your coaches not "back off".  Once again, don't give empty compliments and don't overdo the compliments . That may make your coach think you're just trying to suck up.  :)  Do you have grandparents or teachers like that?  haha  They just tell you so many nice things that you start to ignore them, or stop believing them.  :)
