Who calls your plays and do you have a set sequence for in-system passes?

We normally let the setter call her own plays, but we discuss who are our go to players and what we want in certain situations.  We want to set the middle and the opposite as much as possible to help make sure our OH have as many single blocks as possible.  There have been cases though when our OH was six inches taller than their opposite so we let the setter know to only set the OH.  We do run X's and combination plays off serve receive and free balls and that is discussed before the game.

We do not use a set sequence of plays because all team video tape and that would be to easy for them to spot.
