Identifying Your Vintage Wright & McGill Granger Fishing Rod - Model Details & Value
Question
My father gave me a vintage Wright McGill rod recently. The writing on the rod reads toward the tip and says;
Wright and McGill
"Granger" ?- 6 1/2 FT.
no. DWM - 6 1/2
The reel seat is offset and has a copper finish to it. It appears to only be a 2 piece rod. The handle butt is just black. It also has a sticker below the writing that has a list of numbers vertically with corresponding colors. If you could give me anymore information that would be great. I can't seem to find out anything more.

Answer
Hi Dustin,
Well, this one sounds interesting. If possible send me some pictures of the rod at joe@blackdogtackle.com and I'll review them. I don't find this one listed in the reference books so I'll need to do some digging. It would help to have the pictures.
Thanks, Joe
