Sport King Model 10B Fishing Reel: History, Value & Information

The image   My husband has a Sport King fishing reel given to him from his great grandfather and it is a Model 10B. engraved with a fish. We want to know more about it, price and all information you can give us thank you.

Sports King is the fishing tackle line sold by Montgomery Wards. These were made by other tackle companies for Montgomery Ward, most likely Shakespeare or Bronson, etc.

These reels were low cost in their day and are fairly common today. They sell for $5-10, more if you have the original box.

PS do you have any old fishing lures...these are also collectable.
