Heddon 220R Spinning Reel

pic   I got his from my grandfather 15+ years ago and still use it today. would like a little history on it if possible, when was it produced etc. it works better than most modern reels I've seen

yes, many of these ball bearing reels work very well today.

Your reel is from the 1960s. There is not much collector interest in these reels, $10-15 range.

But still good to fish with.
