langley reels

Where would one find a list of the Langley reels made?  .as an undergrad at univ of texas i worked in an old fash. sporting goods.  The owner gave me a Langley which was quite different from any I had seen.  I lost it in a move and cannot remember  the model.  It was open on top with no bail.  Google is useless in it is just a sales based search engine not necessarily knowledge based. I never could get it to work right.  Thanks.

Carl; I tried some searches and found as you say most are interested in selling.  One place that I looked at was e-bay.  This is a buying selling site but they do a lot of listing of antique fishing equipment for the collectors.  It would probably not do you any good to look for antique Langley reels. Just go to reels and start down the line searching.  Of course you do not have to buy anything but there is a great deal of information available on all kinds of fishing stuff.
I will continue to look too and if I find anything I will post it on All-Experts.
