Ice Fishing Combo

While going though my father-in-laws garage, we came across a Sears & Roebuck Company EM, Ice fishing Combo. It seems to be fairly old and we would like to know more about it. The reel model # is 535.311530-430 and is signed Ted Williams. The rod model # is 535.30544 we believe as some of the numbers are not visable. Any information you can provide would be great. I have no information on this rod and reel and don't seem to be able to find any.  I have never seen one.  It sounds interesting.  What material is the rod made from...bamboo, fiberglass?

Sears used the Ted Williams endorsement on virtually all of their sporting goods for quite a while. I would guess this rod is fiberglass and is from the 1950s-1960s era.

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything.
