Antique Hiawatha Rod

  I just wanted a value if possible on this rod that is in immacculate condition, still in original container.  The only numbers and lettering I see on the rod are 27-7600, Hiawatha Tubular Glass.  Once again, this rod is in mint condition!   Thanks, Darrin

Hello Darrin,

Unfortunately Glass rods haven't gained the respect they deserve in the collecting community yet so your rod won't be worth a fortune.  Given that it is in mint condition though I would say with the container you may be able to get around $50 for it.

I can also tell you that Hiawatha did not make the rod.  Hiawatha is a trade name for a line of products sold by Gambles, trade house in Michigan.
