QuestionI was given a pflufger freespeed 1000 by my grandmother and would like to see in a better condition. I've been around my area and no one will work on it. It seems I have to do it myself. I can't find schematics for it anywhere. The best advise I got was to film myself wile working to get it back together, I'm still going in blind. What do you think and can you offer any help? thank you

Pflueger are pretty common so I only think it is worth about $10. I'm not that familiar with it because I don't know much about it. Also, your question is a little unclear, but that's ok. If it is broken, it may be missing a piece on the inside. It shouldn't differ much from a modern fishing reel so try basing what it looks like on one of your other spinning reels. If it is in poor condition, try oiling all of the internal parts so it can spin smoothly. I hope this helps you find what you are looking for.
