Question
I have a garcia rod that say's conolon, usa.light action, fast taper.some of the numbers are missing but this is what I have,2690_ . 6 1/2'.   _1/4-?/8oz.lures.  4-_0lb.line.  Also on it is a garcia mitchell 300. both seem to be in very, very good condition. on my last question's to you,you were great. thanks

Answer
Hi Raymond,

I don't have as much information on the older conolon rods as I would like to have, but I believe the Garcia Conolon rods come from the 1965-1975 era.  Condition of the rod would set its value.  In Good-Very Good condition maybe the $20-$30 range; in Excellent-Mint condition maybe the $40-$50 range.

I don't know much about reels.  I would suggest doing some searching on the online auctions for indicators of current vlaue.  The Mitchell 300 is a good reel and there are lots of them around.

Thanks,  Joe
