Identifying Vintage Iver Johnson Folding Fishing Knife - Boston, MA
Question
Not sure if you can help or maybe direct to a web site....but here goes. I have a metal folding fishing knife. On the blade it reads "Iver Johnson Boston, Mass stainless steel". The top of the blade is serrated (like a saw). When the knife is closed it comes together and can be used as a six inch ruler. Just curious what you know about the knife or if you can refer to someone who could.....thanks
Answer
Hi Robert,
I don't know anything about Iver Johnson Knives. They are known more for their guns so someone in the gun experts may know more about them. I did find a site called www.knifeforums.com that looks like everything you wanted to know about knives. I bet that someone on that site would have a wealth of info on that knife. I am guessing that it could be very rare and worth some decent money.
Good luck on your quest.
