What do you think is the estimated value of a 62 year old Montegue split bamboo flyrod in good condition?

Hi Art,

It depends on the model and the length and whether or not all rod sections are present plus condition.

However, in general, a Montague fly rod in good condition would likely fall in the $60-$100 price range.

Montague quit making bamboo rods in the early 1950s which would make yours one of the later models to be produced.
