Answer
Hi Mike,

The Gliebe Company was located in Brooklyn, NY, and sold rods marked with their name that were made for them by others...probably Montague or Horrocks-Ibbotson.  This rod, even in new condition, is probably valued in the $25-$40 range.  Good information on the Gliebe Company is hard to find.

Frost & Co was started by Herbert J. Frost in 1896, again in New York City.  Frostco labeled rods were made by a variety of rod makers and Frost was only a retailer of rods.  Some of their rods were average mass production rods.  Some were made by very well known rod makers.  I don't have a list of Frostco rod models or values.

If you are able to send me digital pictures via email, send them to [email protected] and I'll try to figure out who made this one and an approximate value.

Thanks,  Joe
