2 piece
cork handle, copper colour bit where the reel goes on
deep greenish olive colour rod, changes in the light, maroon and light green bands near the eyes.
9 eyes
has 36 painted in the goldish colour on each part of the rod where you fit them together.
has "J McCormack" signed in a goldish colour near the base of the rod
Also has JET-FLY hand painted in the goldish colour near the handle
it also has featherweight?(it has a bit of scratching)right on the very end.
hope you may be able to assist, not really important about valuation but if you have any ideas please let me know thanks for your time, cheers Julia

Answer
Julia,
You missed a couple of very important pieces of information to help me help you.
Length of rod, what it is made of ( bamboo flat sided, fiberglass or graphite round sided), length of  sections, position of reel seat above handle (fly) below (casting).

So the following is guess work:

You are in the UK and I don't see allot of UK rods in the west US.
Hardy (British) made a Jet  fiberglass and a feather weight.
But they used serial numbers.

It has taken me the best part of an hour to write this up , please take a few seconds to provide feedback. Please remember I am a volunteer , the feedback is the only result I get from doing this.

Mac
