Nostalgic Story: My First Shakespeare Spin-Wonderod Spinning Reel

Question
"Hi Robert...
In 1954 my father sold out his Sporting Goods business in Sandy Lake PA., and moved our family to Texas.  Before the final auction he took me and my brother through the store and gave us each a box to fill up with new tackle, anything we wanted.  I picked out a new Shakespeare 1750 Spinning reel, and a Spin-Wonderod.  Over the years I caught my weight several times over on that setup.  About 20 years ago someone broke into my house and stole the rod.  I still have the reel.  I am retired now and would like to replace the rod, but I don't know what the model was.  It was a 2 piece rod, made of green glass, and it didn't have a reel seat, per se..  The cork handle was about 18 inches long, and the rod was about 8 Feet long, assembled.  The handle had 2 aluminum rings that you just slid over the "Tangs" of the reel and it held the reel to the under side of the handle. What was the model of this rod?  I hope I have given enough info.

Thanks, Benny

Answer
Benny,

I will do some checking, I don't know the specific rod your looking for, although I am familiar with the design. But will check with other collectors.
